Before Purchasing Online...

Online shopping is sometimes a necessary evil.  Especially if you can get the toy your son really wants for his Birthday at significant discount at an online retailer.

But before I press that "Complete Purchase" button, I make sure I click over to Retail Me Not.*  They've got Coupon Codes for over 100,000 stores, so it's likely that you can find one that you can use for nearly any online purchase.  I've even used them for ordering Pizza online!

Oh, by the way, the toy that my son wanted for his Birthday was a really hot ticket item last Christmas.  It was selling for over $300.00 in December 2010 and is retailing for $67.00 now.   By waiting and resisting the "fad," we saved ourselves $233.00!

*I am not in any way affiliated with Retail Me Not - I just wanted to share a tip that has saved me big $$ in the past!

    1. Don't forget to get the most out of your smart phone. Lane Bryant can use codes I find online on top of my sale prices I buy at. It saves me a ton! Gordmans can use their scanner to scan coupon bar codes right off your phone! I check at most stores I go to and see if there is a coupon online.

  6. I ♥ Retail Me Not. It's always worth a look to see if there are available coupons before you make a purchase. I was buying Christmas presents through DaveRamsey.com and I found a coupon to get a free book that I was going to purchase. Score! Some online stores will let you use multiple coupons. I've had success doing that on Newport News.
