I've been Pinning quite a few recipes for Fried Ice Cream recently:

Finally, you can't go wrong with this detailed tutorial for Deep Fried Ice Cream featured on The V-Spot:

Here's what you need:
3 Cups Corn Chex
3 Tablespoons Cinnamon Sugar
Vanilla Ice Cream
First, measure out the Chex and Cinnamon Sugar and put it in a large ziplock bag. With a rolling pin (or the heel of your hand), crush the cereal. Give it a good shake to make sure the Cinnamon Sugar is well mixed.
You can then pour it into a jar to use at your whim! Wouldn't this also make a great hostess gift with a coordinating ice cream scoop?
I have to warn you...this is Extremely Addicting! My husband and I went through a whole container of ice cream in 3 days because this topping is just so darn good!
You can also serve it up with a drizzle of Caramel Sundae Topping to really make it taste authentic.
Fake-It Yourself Breakdown:
Fake & Fast Fried Ice Cream Topping ($0.67 Cereal, $0.05 Cinnamon Sugar, $1.00 Ice Cream) Yields 6 Servings.
Total Fake-It Cost: $1.71
Compare to Fried Ice Cream at a Restaurant: $6.00 Average, 2 Servings
Total Fake-It Savings: $16.29 + Pig Out Convenience!
