Family Values Artwork

When we moved into our rental home, I had a large, blank space over my sofa that was begging for something really unique...but really inexpensive.  Considering that the family room is the place we spend the most time, I wanted something that captured the essence of our family...something that showed a bit of the introspection we had all been doing during our time abroad.

What I came up with was actually something quite simple, but every time I look at it, I get inspired.

These are our Family Values:  Love, Freedom, Integrity & Fun

To make them, I picked up some cheap poster frames from Walmart.  Leaving the simple cardboard backing of the frame exposed, I glued some floral still-life's right onto the cardboard.  Underneath each one, I wrote our Family Values on a nice piece of scrap-booking paper.

They are a confirmation to each of us of the way we want to conduct ourselves.

What are your Family Values?  I'd love to know!  Leave me a comment!
