Shout Out to Aldi!

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE ALDI SUPERMARKET!  I really am too lazy to do all of that extreme couponing, so I focus on shopping only at Aldi for all of my grocery needs.  I confess that my grocery bill used to be well over $250.00 per week (yikes!) before I discovered Aldi.  Now it averages $70-120 per week, depending on if I want to splurge on their lobster tails ($12 for 2 large tails) or on one of their "Special Buys" like the Wand Sprayer and Pruning Sheers I picked up this week.

If you're interested in learning more about Aldi, I recommend checking out The Aldi Spot - a terrific blog that actually does the price comparisons for you so that you know you're getting some serious value for your dollar.  In the latest post, The Aldi Spot shows that Aldi has been ranked the #1 Affordable Grocery Price Leader in the US and Canada.  Preaching to the choir!

Thanks to JRFrugalMom for creating The Aldi Spot!

  3. My husband and I have 4 children needless to say grocery shopping can be costly. We use to spend $300/wk and now with Aldi we spend about $125-$150/wk. The food tastes great and the aldi's is by me has wine and beer and I love the wine! I am not a coupon person I have seen the people that do this and not only do I not have the space for that much food but with 4 children I think my time is much better spent with my children then cutting coupons for 8+ hours a day.
